Jean was a beloved mum, yaya, and sister as well as a dear friend to many. Her family have been comforted by the many beautiful stories of friendship shared by people she'd known for more than fifty years and from new neighbours she’d known for just a few weeks, from friends made at Ivy House, Rising Voices, and Meyrick Park, and everywhere from holidays to hospital wards. Jean had a gift for making deep friendships wherever she went and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. On this page you can share thoughts, stories and photos.

One of the great joys of Jean's life over the last ten years was Rising Voices Wessex, a charity choir she co-founded for people whose lives have been affected by cancer. If you would like to leave a donation in her memory, you can do so at https://www.justgiving.com/risingvoices-wessex.
